Meet Rotary

Meet Rotary! He is a 6-month-old lab and golden retriever mix that my roommate is training to be a service dog. She has him for a year and a half, so in February of 2019 she will give him back to go through more training. Her job is to teach him commands such as wait, sit, right side, left side, and to also get him familiar with people. Rotary loves going walks and meeting new people! It’s really nice living with Rotary because if I ever need a break from school work I can play with him!

Shenandoah National Park

Last weekend I went to the Apple Festival at Shenandoah National Park.  The festival had vendors, dancers and you guessed it unlimited amount of apple flavored foods. This was my first time Shenandoah and also my first-time hiking. It’s kind of weird that I have never been there before with it being so close. My friend goes there every summer so she was able to show us around. It was so much fun to make it to the top of the mountain and watch the beautiful sun set. Getting to see the view from so high up was incredible.

Defining Moment

This picture is from when my dance studio won Nationals. All of our hard worked paid off and we all came together as a team.

My Most Recent Vacation

Over the summer I went to Aruba with my mom. My sister went there for her honeymoon and she loved it, so my mom and I decided we needed to go too! The water was crystal clear and the people there were so nice. Our hotel always had activities going on. During the day, there was a live band outside by the pool and at night there was guest singers in the lobby. You can never run out of things to do: kayaking, jet skis, paddle boards, snorkeling and many more. We didn’t end up going on any excursions, but if I go back I definitely will. I’m looking forward to going to the natural pool!

My Top 5 Vacations

Everybody dreams of the perfect vacation. My perfect vacations seem to consists of the same thing… crystal clear water, bright sun rays, and tropical music.
